A scratch side of 13 Jimmies took on 14 belgrave/anstey players in a great competition.
The visitors not having a full front row led to non contested scrums, taking out a key weapon in the Jimmies arsenal.
At the end of the first half the boys in blue and white were 15 points down. But when swotching ends and the wind behind them a superb kicking game kept the red and blacks in their 22.

A couple of trys reignited the Jimmies. The first a cross field kick into the arms of John Hickson, 10m out (though he claims it was 50m). The second from Craig Caunt who then converted his own Try. However a misscommunication from the ref was their downfall. As thinking they had longer, the Jimmies continued their game plan of kicking for territory. The ball went out and the whistle was blown.
